Rogue One,
is more of a war film than any so far in the Star Wars franchise.  Having to live up to the nostalgia of A New Hope, Rogue One had to tell an effective story with new characters and old.  After multiple viewings over the past year, it’s time to share a deeper look into 5 interesting plot points you may have missed.  For the purpose of this article, we’re not writing about Easter eggs.  Rather, we’re discussing how the story was executed.

We introduce a new category of movie posters, the veiled hero.
Similar to a hero alone, the veiled hero displays an incomplete character with an opaque or otherwise abstract background.  Star Wars The Last Jedi released a set of their favorite characters on posters with distinctive style.  But is it original and have we seen this before?

Rogue One a Star Wars Story,
is the 8th feature film of the Star Wars franchise.  The “stand alone” film is polarizing, splitting the audience into camps between Disney-haters, prequel lovers, and Star Wars geeks.  Seen on opening weekend, twice, here are a few words scraped together about the Rogue One event.

A spoiler-free blog of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Reserving tickets for an early Saturday morning screening, I thought I could avoid the chaos on opening weekend.  Unable to reserve IMAX seats anything better than second row, we chose the 2-D screening at a local theater just a 5 minute walk from home.  Arriving 45-minutes early, we managed to get 4th row seats.  When the lights dimmed and the trailers rolled, I was relieved we finally made it without any thing spoiled.

With Star Wars Ep 7: The Force Awakens,
fans are anxious to forget their disappointments of the original trilogy.  The Phantom Menace is a perfect example of hype after decades of waiting.  We’ve come across an interesting article from goliath.com, that opines 7 questionable casting decisions from the film.   Unlike A New Hope, Episode 1 invited many established talent to be part of the legacy.

Before we go through the list, we do our best distinguishing poor acting and presentation from poor writing.  Did the casting decision bring excitement to the role?  When it comes to the bad lines, we’ll try to be objective and look past it.   Let’s retell the controversies!
