Final thoughts

As a fan of Scooby Doo, its best to think of this as a Batman movie guest starring Mystery Inc than the other way around. There’s nostalgic fun seeing iconic villains re-animated as well as hidden Easter Eggs from the 60’s live action series.  As a mystery, its difficult to embrace a floating martian, talking chimpanzee, and men made from plastic and clay.   This is a “what-if” crossover episode and no more than that.
